🇦🇺 Australian Consumer Law Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Knex Spares website and the purchase of products from us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

2. Our Products

Knex Spares sells individual Knex-compatible construction toy parts including rods, connectors, wheels, gears and specialty components.

All products are described as accurately as possible. Colours may vary slightly from on-screen representations due to monitor calibration.
Weights listed are per individual piece and are used for shipping calculations.
We reserve the right to discontinue any product without notice.
Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of order confirmation is the price you pay.

3. Orders and Payment

An order is accepted when you receive a confirmation email from us.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion (e.g. stock errors, suspected fraud). A full refund will be issued for any cancelled orders.
Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
You must be 18 or over to purchase, or have parental/guardian consent.

4. Pricing and Currency

All prices displayed and charged are in Australian Dollars (AUD). The currency converter (USD/GBP) is provided as a guide only — your card will be charged in AUD. Any currency conversion fees are charged by your bank or card provider, not us.

International Orders — Customs and Duties

⚠️ Important for international buyers: Import duties, taxes and customs charges (including US tariffs) are the buyer's responsibility. We estimate US tariff costs at checkout but these estimates are not guaranteed. Actual charges are determined by your country's customs authority. We are not responsible for any delays or fees incurred at customs.

6. Stock and Availability

Stock levels shown on the website are updated regularly but are not guaranteed to be real-time.
If an item you ordered is out of stock after your payment is processed, we will contact you within 2 business days and offer a full refund or substitute.

7. Returns and Refunds

Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details. In summary:

Change of mind: not accepted on small-value parts (items under AU$5 total)
Faulty or incorrectly shipped items: full replacement or refund
All returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery

8. Intellectual Property

"Knex" is a registered trademark of K'NEX Brands, LP. Knex Spares is an independent retailer of Knex-compatible parts and has no affiliation with K'NEX Brands, LP. All website content, copy, design and code created by Knex Spares is our intellectual property.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (and subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law), our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the products purchased in the relevant transaction. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages.

Knex parts are construction toys intended for ages 7+. We are not liable for injury or damage arising from misuse of products.

10. Website Use

You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose.
We may update, modify or remove website content at any time without notice.
We do not warrant that the website will be available continuously or free from errors.

11. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Disputes
