Like a lot of good ideas, this one started with a mild annoyance. A Knex set, missing two grey long rods. The set was incomplete; the build wouldn't work. The only options seemed to be hunting through eBay listings for bulk lots you didn't need, or just accepting that the set was broken.
There had to be a better way. So we started Knex Spares — a place where you can buy the exact piece you need, individually, at a fair price, shipped from Sydney.
We stock individual Knex parts — rods, connectors, specialty pieces — and sell them one at a time. No bulk lots, no mystery packs. If you need 3 yellow rods and a white 8-way hub, you buy exactly that.
Shipping is calculated by actual weight so you pay a fair price based on what you're actually sending, not a flat fee designed to make up for low-value orders.
One missing piece shouldn't mean buying a whole new set. We think that's wasteful and expensive.
Prices are set to be genuinely reasonable — not inflated because we think you're desperate.

Knex has been around since 1992 and has one of the most dedicated building communities of any construction toy. People build roller coasters, ball machines, bridges, cars, weapons, and sculptures — and they take it seriously. We're part of that community, not just a shop sitting on top of it.
We'll be adding new part types regularly as we source them, and we'll take requests — if there's a specific piece you can't find anywhere, drop us an email.
We ship to Australia, the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, most of Europe and the rest of the world. We're transparent about the actual costs — the UK minimum charge exists because tracked international post genuinely costs that much; the US tariff estimate is there because we'd rather you know upfront than get a surprise from customs.
